A Timber Frame To Go - Using wood salvaged from a blow-down near Marblemount, Flash worked with a local sawyer to mill approximately 80 beams, which he then cut into a complete Timber Frame package for a 1,000 square-foot home in Anchorage, Alaska. He shipped the beams via barge to Alaska, and then travelled to Anchorage for 3 weeks to help the owners put the frame together. In addition to creating a beautiful handmade shell for this owner-built home, it also saved the owners a considerable amount of money compared to buying similar beams in Alaska.
